Hello! I'm Nikki, but most of my friends just call me ikkins (Nikki backwards with an “s”, in case you were wondering). I originally started Life of Ikkins in 2009 to document my transition moving from Washington D.C. to Louisville Kentucky, but now? From motherhood, video game reviews, and the occasional rant, you never know what you'll find here!

I'm working toward my BA, am employed over at  ScaryMommy.com, and am loving being a mommy to my 4 year old son. In my free time you'll find me lounging around the house with my kiddo, having a ton of fun with my friends, drinking beer, watching movies from my Pop Culture list, and playing video games.
